Student answer (Band 5.0)

On the argue, some people do not work hard to better themself as a finencialy. They strongly believed bed situation is best than good situation and they do not try to acieve it. In my openion it's very rong so,I partilly agree to this statement.

If a person who have no job and they are week as a finentially. The biggest disadvantage of this situation they do not full fill their dreems. Futhermore, they do not compete their house expensives. Evey time they walk with down head and every person do not like it. It had many other disadvantages such as they do not buy daily use items they do not buy products like clothes, watchs and shoes. They do not go to visiting any city or country. They do not take good treetment, even they do not enjoy his life.

On the other, a person who start his business or any other job and work hard. I say it he is a lucky person if he try to achive his target but they do not give success, they try again and again one time he give success they full fill his dreems. For instance they go for a jorney they visit the world they give every thinks they would like it. They also give better health and chill the life. If they give a bigger success they live a luxary life.

Overall, In my openion becauce of these reasons, I agree to the second decision. Try his better than accept a bad situations. Furthermore i like these persons who work hard and acived their goals.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views by describing the disadvantages of remaining in a poor financial situation and the possible rewards of working to improve it. Your final position is also identifiable: you favour trying to improve circumstances. However, the discussion is only partial. The first view is presented mainly through the consequences of having little money, rather than explaining why someone might believe acceptance is preferable—for example, because change can be risky or stressful. The second view relies on a general success story, and the claim that hard work eventually brings success is not sufficiently qualified or supported. Develop the reasons behind each viewpoint and make your own position clear and consistent from the introduction onward.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two situations, and a concluding paragraph. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from dreams and expenses to social embarrassment, shopping, travel, and treatment without clearly grouping or explaining these points. Linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “On the other,” and “Overall” are present, but some are used mechanically or do not accurately signal the relationship between ideas. Use clearer topic sentences, organise related examples together, and make references such as “they” and “these persons” more precise so the connections between claims are easier to track.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to work, money, goals, and quality of life, including “house expenses,” “compete their house expenses,” “achieve his target,” and “luxury life.” These attempts show that you can communicate the general topic, but the range is limited and many word choices, forms, and spellings are inaccurate. Expressions such as “walk with down head,” “give success,” and “chill the life” are not natural collocations and may make the intended meaning difficult to understand. Repetition of “they do not” and “they” also limits variety. Build a bank of accurate phrases for financial hardship and personal improvement, and check spelling and collocation before using less familiar expressions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

Most sentences use simple patterns, and you make some attempts to connect clauses, for example, “If a person who have no job…” and “if he try to achieve his target.” However, these longer constructions are often faulty, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries make parts of the response difficult to read. Examples include “a person who have,” “they do not full fill,” and “one time he give success.” Several sentences also lack a complete or well-formed main clause, as in “If a person who have no job…” Aim first for accurate simple sentences, then practise joining them with correctly formed clauses. Check subject–verb agreement and keep pronouns consistent within each sentence.
