Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a clear personal view in the opening—“I personally feel we should improve such situations”—and include relevant reasons for accepting a poor job, such as maintaining income and avoiding financial crisis. You also mention that acceptance may reduce frustration. However, the discussion is incomplete: the case for improving a situation is not developed, and the conclusion does not clearly weigh both views. Some points, such as “some situation are created by the god,” are asserted rather than explained. The response contains 191 words, so it is 59 words below the 250-word minimum; this limits the space available to address and support the task fully. Develop both sides with specific examples and restate your position clearly at the end.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic overall shape: an opening, a paragraph beginning “on the one hand,” a further point about job security, and a conclusion. Some links between ideas are understandable, particularly the connection between quitting without a backup and financial difficulty. However, progression is difficult to follow because several different arguments are crowded into one long paragraph, and the second body paragraph has no clear link to the first. Connectors such as “moreover” and “but” are used without consistently showing the relationship between points. The conclusion also introduces finding a better job without explaining how this resolves the earlier argument for acceptance. Use separate paragraphs for each view and organise each around one main idea with clear supporting explanation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “unsatisfactory job,” “steady income,” “financial crisis,” “frustration,” and “resilience.” These choices show an effort to discuss employment and the emotional effects of difficult circumstances. However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or unclear, such as “activity seaking new a new job,” “make things good or valid,” and “survival plans.” Spelling errors—including “believd,” “moreoveer,” and “expections”—are noticeable and sometimes make the reader work to understand the intended meaning. Aim for precise, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, describe the “stress of searching for a new job” and “basic living expenses” rather than relying on unclear phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to use both simple and more complex structures, including a contrast with “while” and a reason clause in “because some we try to make things good.” The final point about quitting a job also communicates a cause-and-effect relationship. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and sentence boundaries are frequently unclear. For example, the opening joins several clauses with full stops and no capitalisation, while “we should let it be we should learn to live” needs clearer separation or a conjunction. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and sentence construction, as in “some situation are created” and “some can pass it.” Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then combine ideas using accurate subordinate clauses and punctuation.
