Student answer (Band 5.5)

There is an ongoing debate over the carry on the journey without trying to get higher rank. In a side of viewers who argue that people have to continue their journey with worst situation like an unsatisfactory job or crisis in saved money, while other agree with that to learn new skills and enhance these situations. This essay will discuss both point of views. I firmly agree with the second view to learn new skills and brighter their future.

To commence with the first aurguments that people have to accept the bad situations and continue the same path as it is. This may keep them in that emergency which maybe fullfill to take the debt or family support. For example, A person who is stuck in medical emergency and need the finance to overcome in emergency. So, they can not take over the situation without satisfactory with job or not discipline savings.

The others argument that people should contribute in the modern courses of their interest, to balance and enhance their future in that field. This can help them to face the situation with encouragement and overcome on emergencies. For instance, Elon Musk who launched SpaceEx in 2001, failed many time to reached the satellite in space but did not discourage with that and try to improve the skills and reached at that position what he wanted.

In conclusion, the people who are saying that to accept all worst situation rather than facing and overcome on that situation. I strongly admit that people should enroll in the latest course of thier interest for facing the situation and imporve themselves.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and state a clear preference for improving one’s circumstances, especially through learning new skills. The two body paragraphs also attempt to explain each position and include examples. However, the discussion is only partially developed: the first paragraph’s example about a medical emergency does not clearly show why accepting a bad job or financial shortage is preferable, and the second focuses on Elon Musk rather than explaining practical ways people can improve their own situation. The conclusion repeats your opinion but does not draw together the comparison. To strengthen the response, explain the reasoning behind each view more directly and use examples that clearly support those arguments.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through the discussion, and phrases such as “For example” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow. For instance, the link between a medical emergency, family support, and accepting an unsatisfactory job is unclear, while the final sentence of the conclusion is awkwardly connected to the preceding idea. Some transitions are also mechanical, including “To commence with” and “The others argument.” Make the relationship between each claim and its example explicit, and use clearer references and transitions to connect ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “unsatisfactory job,” “debt,” “modern courses,” and “improve the skills.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make the meaning unclear. Phrases such as “carry on the journey,” “crisis in saved money,” and “brighter their future” do not express the intended ideas naturally; “SpaceEx” is also misspelled. Repetition of “situation” and “emergency” further limits precision. Build a more reliable set of expressions for discussing financial hardship, job satisfaction, and personal development, and check spelling and word forms. More accurate, natural phrasing would make your arguments easier to understand.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast between the two views and a relative clause in “who launched SpaceEx in 2001.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. For example, “people have to continue their journey with worst situation” lacks an article and has an unclear comparative form, while “A person who is stuck in medical emergency and need the finance” has problems with article use and subject–verb agreement. The opening sentence is also incomplete or structurally unclear. Practise building accurate complete sentences, especially when joining clauses, and check agreement, articles, verb forms, and punctuation before submitting.
