Student answer (Band 5.5)

Most people argue that doing nothing in sutrugling is the best way to handle the situation while other believe that people should have make efforts to make their coope with difficult situations. Although, in some situations person effort does not make any difference, nevertheless people should give their hunderend percent to resolve their issues.

People in most of the countries are not comfortable with their employment, salaries and working conditions. They are struggling with the financial burden still they doing nothing to overcome these issues. Mostly people do not want to leave their jobs with the fear of that they will not be able to find better opportunity easily. Moreover, people even with the financial difficulties did not try to make their living better. For instance, mostly people nowdays believe that all these problems were already written in their destiny and they do not have the ability to solve these issues

On the other hand, some individual put extra efforts in their life to improve their living conditions and to overcome financial difficulties. These people take motivation from difficult task and handle the pressure situation in a very calm personality. Furthermore, they think people should have to make efforts to get out from bad situations such as doing something is better to doing nothing. For example, those who learn from their difficult times and think in a create way to resolve issues always become successful.

In conclusion, i firmly believe people who work hard always become successful in their life by making efforts as compare to those who just sit and wait for their time to come with making zero percent effort.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and state a clear preference for making an effort, especially in the introduction and conclusion. The discussion of accepting a difficult situation is relevant: fear of losing a job and beliefs about destiny are plausible reasons people may not act. However, the two sides are not explored equally or in much depth. The second view relies mainly on the general claim that hard-working people succeed, and the example is hypothetical rather than specific. Your opinion is clear, but it would be stronger if you explained when accepting a situation might be sensible, then supported your preferred approach with a more developed example or reasoning.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This makes the overall direction easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help identify the stages of the argument. Within paragraphs, however, ideas sometimes feel listed rather than developed, and links between claims are occasionally mechanical. For example, “Moreover” introduces another point without clearly showing how it advances the explanation. The final sentence also repeats the central contrast rather than drawing the discussion together. Improve progression by giving each paragraph a clear main claim, explaining it, and then connecting the example directly to that claim.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “financial burden,” “working conditions,” “financial difficulties,” and “overcome.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the response difficult to interpret. Phrases such as “make their coope with difficult situations,” “handle the pressure situation in a very calm personality,” and “think in a create way” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling errors such as “sutrugling,” “hunderend,” and “nowdays” also reduce accuracy. Build a more reliable set of phrases for discussing coping and improvement, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary would make your argument clearer and less repetitive.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a concession in “Although, in some situations…” and a relative clause in “those who learn from their difficult times.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction recur. Examples include “other believe,” “they still doing nothing,” “people … did not try,” and “people should have to make efforts.” The opening also joins “Although” and “nevertheless” in a way that leaves the sentence structure unclear. These problems sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow. Practise forming complete clauses and maintaining consistent tense, then proofread for subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries.
