Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response attempts both sides of the question and gives a concluding view: it suggests that people may endure hardship to meet family needs, while also arguing that learning skills or changing jobs can improve circumstances. However, the discussion is only partially developed. The first view is presented mainly as a reason to tolerate difficulties, but the explanation that problems are temporary is not clearly connected to accepting an unsatisfactory job or financial hardship. The second view is also unclear: the claim that people should work in many jobs is not explained as a practical way to improve their situation. The conclusion combines these points without stating a clear, consistent preference. Develop each view with a specific reason and example, then state your own position directly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is a recognisable essay structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” help identify the sections. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because ideas are repeated or linked mechanically with “so” and “to elaborate this.” For example, the first body paragraph moves from family needs to workplace problems, temporary difficulties and a company example without making the relationships clear. References such as “these” and “this job” also leave the reader unsure who or what is meant. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, explain it in a logical sequence, and use clearer references and a wider range of linking methods.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The response uses some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “shortage of money,” “family needs,” “temporary,” “confident,” and “learn new skills.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make the meaning difficult to understand. Phrases such as “build a humans more confident,” “get high state in your life,” and “remained this life easily” are not natural ways to express the intended ideas. There are also frequent spelling errors, including “obseved,” “stiuation,” “permannat,” and “daliy,” which reduce clarity. Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing job security, financial pressure and career development, and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The essay attempts both simple and longer sentence forms, often joining ideas with “because,” “and” or “so,” but control is weak and errors frequently make sentences hard to follow. Subject–verb agreement is inconsistent, as in “few individuals thinks” and “many people works”; infinitive and verb forms are also faulty in “it is best way to accepts” and “try learn new skills.” Articles, plurals and sentence boundaries are often missing or inaccurate, as in “work in office and factory” and “cannot leave to this jobs.” Commas and spacing around punctuation are also inconsistent. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using controlled subordinate clauses; check agreement, articles and verb patterns in each sentence.
