Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have identified the main features and provided a clear overview. However, the report contains several factual inaccuracies regarding the data. For example, you state that 'Petroleum products and engineered goods accounted for highest earning', but the chart shows that Gems and jewellery were significantly higher. Additionally, your description of the data in the third paragraph is confusing and does not accurately reflect the values presented in the chart. To improve, ensure you carefully cross-reference your statements with the visual data. While you have attempted to report the main features, the lack of precision in interpreting the figures prevents a higher score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The response is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'Overall', 'Furthermore', and 'Moreover' to link ideas. However, the progression of information is sometimes disjointed, particularly in the third paragraph where the transition between categories is abrupt. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the logical flow is hindered by the inaccuracies in the data reporting. To improve, ensure that each paragraph has a clear focus and that you use a wider variety of linking words to connect your sentences more naturally.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey the main points, such as 'illustrates', 'enumerates', 'proportion', and 'plummeted'. However, there are some errors in word choice and collocation that affect precision. For instance, you use 'figure of Export Earnings' repeatedly, which is repetitive. You also use 'dramatic rose' (a noun phrase where a verb or adjective-noun combination is needed) and 'significantly increase' (adverb instead of adjective). Expanding your vocabulary to include more precise reporting verbs and nouns will help you achieve a higher band score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'the figure of Export Earnings... accounted for highest earning' (missing articles), 'in there was a dramatic rose' (incorrect syntax), and 'was rose' (incorrect passive voice construction). These errors are noticeable and occasionally make the meaning difficult to follow. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, correct article usage, and ensuring that your verb tenses are consistent when describing data. Practising the difference between active and passive voice will also be beneficial.
