Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response attempts to address the task but fails to provide a clear or accurate summary of the data. While it identifies some categories, the description of the trends is often inaccurate or confusing (e.g., stating Agriculture products had 'no any extra benefit' when the table shows a percentage change). The overview is weak and lacks a clear synthesis of the main features. The data reporting is inconsistent, and the interpretation of the figures is frequently incorrect, which prevents a full understanding of the information presented in the chart and table.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The response is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is hindered by poor sentence structure and unclear referencing. The use of cohesive devices is very limited and often mechanical or misused (e.g., 'in these chart show', 'in the firstly'). The lack of clear transitions between sentences makes the information difficult to follow. While there is a basic attempt at paragraphing, the internal structure of these paragraphs lacks the necessary cohesion to guide the reader effectively through the data.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary range is limited and repetitive, relying heavily on basic terms like 'value', 'increase', and 'decrease'. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'export compony' and 'couple years'. The student struggles to use precise terminology related to data description (e.g., 'high dollers' instead of 'highest value'). These errors occasionally impede communication, as the reader must guess the intended meaning behind phrases like 'no any extra benefit'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that affect clarity. There are significant issues with subject-verb agreement ('These chart is giving'), article usage, and sentence construction. The student relies almost exclusively on simple sentence structures, and attempts at more complex sentences are often faulty or incomplete. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of symbols and capitalization. These persistent errors make the text difficult to read and demonstrate a limited control over basic grammatical structures.
