Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

The response covers all parts of the task, including the main features and comparisons. You successfully identified the top exporters and the least exported category. However, the analysis of the data is slightly inconsistent; for example, you mention Petroleum products were the most demanded in 2016 at 63 billion, but the chart shows 60 billion for 2016. Additionally, the statement about Agricultural products having the same earnings in both years contradicts the table showing a 0.81% change. While you have selected key features, the accuracy of the data reporting needs to be more precise to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.5

The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, overview, and body paragraphs. You use cohesive devices such as 'Overall', 'To begin with', 'On the other hand', and 'Moreover' to guide the reader through the information. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the overview from the specific details. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and the referencing could be smoother in places. Overall, the progression of ideas is clear, and the structure supports the information provided effectively.

Lexical Resource — Band 7.0

You demonstrate a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey the information clearly, including terms like 'economical values', 'consecutive year', and 'percentage change'. There are some minor inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'economical values' (should be 'economic values') and 'a short in the sales' (which is non-standard phrasing). You attempt to use less common vocabulary, but some collocations are slightly unnatural. To improve, focus on using more precise terminology related to data reporting and ensuring that word forms are used correctly in context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While many sentences are clear, there are several grammatical errors, such as 'the top exporters... significantly as compared to', 'the second highest in the trade among others', and 'earning through exports are significantly more'. There are also issues with article usage and prepositional phrases. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. Increasing the variety of error-free complex structures and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would be beneficial.
