Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response covers the main features of the data, including an overview and specific comparisons. However, the response is incomplete, ending abruptly mid-sentence ('it had been sil'). Because the analysis of the data is cut off, the task is not fully addressed. While the initial overview and the description of the first two categories are relevant, the failure to complete the summary of all categories significantly impacts the overall task achievement. To reach a higher band, ensure all data points are fully described and the conclusion is finished.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The response uses basic paragraphing and some cohesive devices like 'Overall' and 'At the beginning'. However, the progression of ideas is interrupted by the incomplete ending. The use of linking words is somewhat mechanical, and the abrupt stop at the end of the second paragraph disrupts the flow of information. To improve, focus on using a wider range of cohesive devices to link sentences more naturally and ensure the structure remains logical from start to finish.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, using terms like 'proportion change', 'earning share', and 'sectors'. There are some inaccuracies, such as 'earnings held by exports' (should be 'earnings from exports') and 'proportion change' (should be 'percentage change'). The range is somewhat limited, relying on repetitive structures. To achieve a higher score, try to incorporate more precise terminology related to data description, such as 'fluctuated', 'remained stable', or 'experienced a marginal increase'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

There are several grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'The bar chart illustrate' (subject-verb agreement), 'their was slightly increased' (incorrect word choice and tense), and 'it is gradually increased' (passive voice error). The sentence structures are mostly simple or contain errors when attempting complexity. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of errors is noticeable. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and correct verb tenses will help improve the accuracy of your writing.
