The chart below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart illustrates the value of exports in five categories for a country in 2015 and 2016, while the table shows the percentage change in each category between these two years.

Overall, petroleum products remained the largest export earner despite a slight decline, while engineered goods and textiles experienced significant increases. In contrast, agricultural products saw a decrease.

In 2015, petroleum products generated just over 60 billion dollars, making it the highest. This figure rose slightly in 2016 to around 61 billion, although the table indicates an overall decrease of 4%. Engineered goods were the second largest, increasing from approximately 58 billion to 63 billion, representing an 8.5% rise.
