The chart below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart and table illustrate export revenue across five product categories for a specific nation between 2015 and 2016, alongside the year-on-year percentage modifications.
Overall, export earnings increased in almost all sectors, except for gems and jewellery. Petroleum products consistently remained the top revenue generator, whereas textiles experienced the most dramatic growth rate.
In 2015, petroleum products earned the highest revenue at approximately $61 billion, which grew by 3% to reach over $63 billion in 2016. Engineered goods recorded a similar upward trend, expanding by 8.5% from around $57 billion to approximately $62 billion.
Conversely, gems and jewellery was the sole category to see a decline, dropping by 5.18% from about $42 billion to $41 billion.
