The chart below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The graph shows the detail of value of one country exports in past categories during 2015 and 2016. The chart shows the ratio of change in each classification of export in 2016 as compared to 2015. Overall there are very small difference in both years.

Firstly, petroleum products earn around 60$ billion but in next year petroleum product earn 3 percent above as compared to previous year. Then engineered goods make almost same to petroleum in 2016 and make a distance of 8% from 2015.Gems and jewellery earn almost 45$ billion but the next year they decreased their earning and make 40$ billion in 2016. After that in agriculture products earn as near both in 2015 and 2016 they earn near to 30$ billion. At last in taxtiles earn near to 30
