The chart below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The given bar graph elucidates the overseas trade of a country for the year 2015 and 2016. Also, the table demonstartes the proportion change in values of disitinctive product kinds.

The most striking feature of the given graph is that the petroleum and engineered products have the highest earning in foreign trade of near about $60 billion in the year [redacted phone].

Overall, it can be vividly noticed that petroleum and engineered good have almost same export earnings of $60 billlion with change in ratio of 3% and 8.5% respectively. However, gems and jewellary have the second highest trade with approximate $40 billion with change in ratio of 5.18%. Moreover, agricultural products and textiles showed nearly the same export trade of estimately $30 billion in both years with change in proportion of 0.81% and 15.24% respectively. On the contrast textiles depicts more change in value than agricultural products.
