The chart below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The bar graph compares the export of one particular country in 5 different categories during the year 2015 and 2016.
Overall, it can be seen that there is a minmal increase in export of Petroleum products as compare to previous year and in both the year Textiles is the least exporting factor and on the other hand it values shows the highest changes as compare to previous year and Agricultural products value showed the lowest amount of change over the year.
In 2015, around 61 billion dollar worth of Petroleum products were exported which changes to 63 billion daller in 2016. Engineered goods were exported around $58 biilion in 2015 which was also slightly icreases around $63 billion dollar in 2016.On the other hand Agriculture products export remained same around $31 and $32 billion dollar in the year 2015 and 2016.
Textiles shows a drastic upward changes into its value as it grown around 15.24% as compare to previous year.
