The chart below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The given chart illustrate the values of exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016 by a country. Table also shows the percentage of change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015. Firstly, export earnings in petroleum products in 2015 was 60$ billion dollars it increased 2$ billion dollars in 2016 reached to 63$ billion . Change in pertroleum products values was 3%. Engineered goods in 2015 traded revenue was 56$ billion but in 2016 it reached to 61$ billion and changes occured in during these two years was 8.5% increased. In the category of Gems and jewelley products in 2015 acquired 42$ billion and 40 billion dollars in 2016 lost was 2$ billion changes occured 5.18%. Agricultural products obtained 31$billion in 2015 and 32$billion in 2016 by exports and values 5.18% increased in these two years.. In last category of textiles 25$billion secured in 2015 and 32$billion in 2016. Changes in percentage occured was 15.24%. The highest revenue generated in the category of petroleum and lowest amount in textile in year of 2015.
