The chart below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The bar chart illustrates information regarding value of one nation's export earnings in different categories between 2015 and 2016. The table shows the pecentile change in each categories of exports in 2016 which compared with 2015.
Overall, it is readily apparent that the maximum export earnings by petroleum products and engineered goods and minimum of by textiles. In terms of product categories textiles was highest in values as compared to rest of categories.
Analysing the data the maximum exports earnings via petroleum products and engineered goods, and this figure was remained same during 2015 and 2016. Additionally, In case of gems and jewellery, agricultural and textiles followed downwards trend and earned about 40 to 20 billions.
Looking at the remaning data, in terms of percentage change in values petroleum products stood at 3/. and agricultural products was at 0.81/. Apart from this, the highest values of texlies and accounted for 15.24/ and gems and jewellery and enigineered goods witnessed for 5.18/ and 8.5/ respectively.
