The chart below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The bar chart illustrates the total earnings in export of a country in several types and are classified into five group over the single year period, while the corresponding table outlines presents data of total earning in each fractions.
Overall, the chart summarizes the total earning of exports of a country. The petroleum products and engineering goods are the biggest source of exports in total earning, while the agricultural product present the lowest proportion of total export earning. However, the attached table delivers the data of total earning in the form of percentage.
The table mention five products in which the petroleum offers the highest ratio in both years 2015 and 2016, meanwhile in 2016 the engineered product was increased rather than 2015 approximately 61%. Furthermore, textile products and agricultural product both remained same about 31%, but textiles was lower in export earning in 2015 estimated 25%. on the other hand the corresponding table which grants the total earning proportion of five product between 2015 and 2016. The table describes that the textile goods made more profit in the export which was about 15.24%. At the same time, the agricultural goods offers very low profit in entire table.
