The chart below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The bar chart compares the export in 2015 with 2016. So first of all we start with 2015 and analysis the bar chart. In 2015 Petroleum product earning is something around 60.1 billion$ and engineered goods earning is 50.7 billion dollors. Then moving forward to Gems and Jewellery export earning is 40.3 billion$ and agricultural product amost earn 30.1 billion dollors. Looking to textiles it's earning is 20.6 billion dollors. If we see the most earn export so petroleum products earn the most and least earn export is textile. However the bad thing is that if you are seeing 2015 export earn graph their is no increase in anything every export earn is less then previous one.
Let's start the analysis of 2016 export earns. In 2016 petroleum product export earning increases from 60.1 to 60.3 billion $ and engineered good also increases from 50.7 to 60.2 billion $. Additionally, Gems and Jewellery diminish from 40.3 to 40.1 and Agricultural products increases from 30.1 to 30.2 billion dollors and textiles increases export earns from 20.6 to 30.2 biilion dollors.
As a result, comparatively 2016 export earns more as compare to the 2015 exports earns.
