The chart below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The given bar chart gives the information about export earnings of a country in different products and goods and the the table show percentage change in values between 2015 and 2016.
Overall, the petroleum products and engineered goods exportation was increased from the last year and textiles changed his value in high percentage.
Firstly, the textiles export in 2015 was less than 30 billions but it increased in 2016 with 30 billions. In agricultural products there was not a big different. The earning of gems and jewellery in 2015 was over to 40 billions and in 2016 it decreased. The engineered goods and petroleum products both of them expend their earning from the last year.
Secondly, the textiles grow his value in a larg number with 15.24%, engineered goods with 8.5% and gems and jewellery with 5.18%. The petroleum products expend with 3% and agricultural good increased value in small quantity with 0.81%.
