THE GIVEN LINE CHARTS ILLUSTRATES THE EACH COUNTRY'S EXPORTS IN PETROLEUM PRODUCTS, ENGINEERED GOODS, GEMS AND JEWELLERY, AGRICULTURE PRODUCTS AND TEXTILES. WHEREAS, THE TABLE DEMONSTRATES THE PERCENTAGES CHANGES IN VALUES BETWEEN 2015 AND 2015.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You cover both the chart and the table, and your overview identifies key features: petroleum products earn the most, textiles show the strongest increase, and gems and jewellery decline. Most figures are broadly consistent with the visual, including the approximate 2016 values for petroleum and textiles. However, some details are inaccurate or unclear: engineered goods are reported as “61%” rather than about $62 billion, and agricultural products are described as having the same value in both years, although they rise slightly from about $31 billion to $31.5 billion. The statement that exports “continuously decreased” also conflicts with the increases in most categories. Develop the overview more precisely and distinguish dollar values from percentage changes.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an overview, a paragraph describing the chart, and a final paragraph summarising the table. This helps the reader locate the main information. However, progression is weakened by unclear or contradictory statements, such as “exports earning products continusly decreased” before listing several increases, and the overview’s “The textiles values was the very high” does not clearly explain what is highest. Some linking phrases, including “Moreover” and “To begin with,” feel mechanical or do not show the relationship between ideas. Grouping the main increases together and the single decline separately, while using clearer references to the chart and table, would make the comparisons easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant task vocabulary such as “export earnings,” “percentage change,” “accounted for,” and “decreased,” and you include the names of all five categories. However, the range and control are limited by repeated or inaccurate expressions, including “earning income,” “less earning,” and “the very high.” Several spelling errors—“PROCTS,” “EXPOPRT,” “CONTINUSLY,” and “SCOND”—also make the writing less clear. Some word choices confuse the data, notably “61%” where a dollar value is intended. Aim for precise collocations such as “export revenue,” “recorded,” and “rose to,” and check spelling and word forms before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the reader can generally identify the comparisons you intend. However, grammatical control is inconsistent. Examples include “The given line charts illustrates,” where the subject and verb do not agree, and “The textiles values was,” which has both agreement and number problems. Articles and sentence construction are also awkward in “in the 2016 the 60 billion in 2015,” while “Agricultural products 32 billion earnings in both years” is a fragment. Use complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, check singular and plural agreement, and form comparisons consistently—for example, “Petroleum exports rose from about $61 billion to $63 billion.”
