Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0

You cover both the chart and the percentage table, and your overview identifies petroleum and engineered goods as the leading export categories and textiles as the strongest gainer. Most reported figures and trends are grounded in the data: for example, gems and jewellery decline, while agricultural exports are nearly stable. This gives the response a clear, relevant account of the main features. To make the overview more precise, note that petroleum—not petroleum and engineered goods jointly—was the highest category in both years, and that textiles and agriculture were the two lowest. You also omit the small agricultural increase of 0.81% from the table. More exact comparisons and a complete summary of the table would strengthen the coverage further.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall progression: an introduction, an overview, a paragraph comparing the chart figures, and a final paragraph on percentage changes. This organisation makes the information easy to follow, and transitions such as “To begin with” and “while” help signal comparisons. The overview also gives the reader a useful guide to the main trends before the details. However, some links are awkward or incomplete, particularly “For the change of value of exports,” and the chart and table information could be integrated more smoothly. Punctuation around sentence boundaries is sometimes confusing, as in “While in 2016 … respectively, The numbers…”. Use complete sentences and clearer linking phrases to make the progression more consistently fluent.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use a suitable range of task-related vocabulary, including “export earnings,” “percentage,” “witnessed,” and “increase,” and the meaning is generally clear. There are also attempts to vary descriptions of change, such as “slightly down” and “sharp increase.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural: “export earning,” “most significant product with high exports,” “highest push,” and “gets 5.18% down” do not express the trends precisely. Some category names also need consistent plural forms, such as “engineered goods” and “textiles.” Aim for standard chart language—“export value,” “recorded the largest rise,” and “fell by”—and check word forms and collocations. These refinements would make your descriptions more precise and natural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and more complex structures, including comparisons with “while” and clauses describing changes across the two years. The main trends remain understandable, but some errors in sentence construction, agreement, tense, articles, and punctuation reduce accuracy. For example, “petroleum products and engineered goods highest export earnings” lacks a verb, while “The petroleum have increase” has problems with agreement and verb form. In “than it previous year,” the possessive form is incorrect, and the capital letter after the comma in “respectively, The numbers” creates a faulty sentence boundary. Practise building complete comparison sentences and checking subject–verb agreement and past-tense forms. More consistently accurate sentences would improve control without sacrificing structural variety.
