Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses both views to some extent: it discusses species loss through deforestation and habitat destruction, then mentions factory emissions and polluted water as other environmental problems. However, the discussion is only partial and the writer’s own position is not clearly stated. “In my openion, every enbironmetal problem sometimes connect with nature sometimes” is too vague to show which problem the writer considers more important. The examples about trees, medicine and pollution are relevant, but they are mostly listed rather than explained or supported. To strengthen the response, directly compare the importance of species loss with other problems, state a definite opinion, and develop each main point with a clear cause, consequence or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: the response has an introduction, separate paragraphs about species loss and pollution, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the two sides. However, the overall progression is not clear, and several links between ideas are abrupt. The introduction promises to discuss both views “in upcoming paragraph,” while the conclusion introduces the need to restrict human-caused problems without developing that point earlier. Connectors such as “as a result,” “after,” and “also” are used, but relationships between claims are sometimes unclear or repetitive. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s central idea, then arrange supporting details in a logical order and make the conclusion restate a clear position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The response uses some relevant environmental vocabulary, including “deforestation,” “food chains,” “species,” “fertilizer,” and “pollute rivers, ponds, and oceans.” This gives the reader a basic sense of the topic. However, the range is limited, and frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices sometimes make meaning difficult to follow, as in “natural beuty,” “detrimental gases,” and “resticated.” Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “natural places and there depedence loose their homes,” where the intended meaning is unclear. Build a more accurate set of topic-specific expressions and check spelling and collocations carefully. More precise wording would help explain habitat loss, emissions and the effects of pollution without relying on repeated general terms such as “problem.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts both simple and longer sentences, including cause-and-effect structures such as “Factory emits detrimental gases that cause many environmental problem.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, agreement, articles and punctuation, sometimes making the message difficult to understand. For example, “Tree gives natural cooling” lacks appropriate article and plural forms, while “Many special species needs” has subject–verb disagreement. The opening sentence also has an unclear structure, and several sentences run together or begin with lowercase letters after full stops. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “because,” “which” and “as a result.” Review agreement, articles and sentence boundaries when proofreading.
