Task-2

In today's time, some masses argues that the main environmental problem of our time is the loss of particular species of plants and animals. While, other argue that there are more important environmental problems. This will explain both views with my own subsequent reason.

Firstly, after analysing the first case, some of the masses believes that the main environmental problem of our time is the loss of plants and animal species which is the main problem because loss of plants can effect the environment which also effects animal habitats. Deforestation can cause environment problems. They cutting down the trees and building large factories which result in cause pollution.

Secondly, after analysing the second case, other masses argues that there are more important environmental change. Ofcourse, if environment cannot done, they can habitat to it. Some of them, pollution by car is the main cause and pollute the air by harmful gases. Moreover, it changes the season of environment change. For instance, if a country having heavy air pollution it make the country hot which result printers.

Comes late.

As far as I concern that, both views have their own importance in everyone's life. But I believe that main enviro-nment problem is rising due to loss of plants or trees and animal species because they build large factories by cutting down trees.

To conclude, some people say that the main environmental problem in that time is due to loss of plants and animals species by the deforestation whereas other think that there are more important enviro-nmental problems.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both views and provides an opinion, but the development is significantly limited. The arguments are repetitive and lack depth. For example, the explanation of deforestation is vague, and the second paragraph regarding pollution is confusing and lacks logical coherence, particularly the phrase 'result printers.' The position is stated but not well-supported with clear, logical reasoning. To improve, you should focus on expanding your ideas with specific examples and ensuring that each paragraph contributes clearly to the overall argument. The response meets the minimum length requirement, but the quality of the content needs substantial development to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay uses basic cohesive devices like 'Firstly' and 'Secondly,' but the flow of ideas is often disjointed. The paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs is weak. The transition between sentences is sometimes abrupt, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the connection between car pollution and 'printers' is unintelligible. The conclusion is repetitive and does not effectively synthesize the arguments presented. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows the previous one will help improve the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. You frequently use 'masses' and 'main environmental problem,' which restricts the range of your expression. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'if environment cannot done' and 'result printers,' which impede the reader's understanding. To improve, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary related to environmental issues and ensure that words are used in their correct context. Focus on learning collocations—words that naturally go together—rather than just individual synonyms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often make the meaning unclear. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'some masses argues'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'if environment cannot done'), and sentence structure. The range of structures is limited, relying mostly on simple sentences with frequent errors in basic grammar. To reach a higher band, you need to focus on mastering basic sentence construction, including correct verb tenses and subject-verb agreement. Practicing the use of complex sentences will also help, but accuracy must be the priority before attempting more complex structures.
