Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent times world is facing a lot of enviromental problem which affects lives of people with their daily life tasks and chores. It is true that loosing some species of plants and animals is affecting the enviroment badly but blaming species and plants is debateable.
Obviously there certain other problems like global warming due to the shifting pattern of mankind and their evolution plays a crucial role in the enviromental rottness. Opnions of both groups is right with the pros and cons.
both loss of particular species and other enviromental problem are causing damage in our sorroundings eventually.
Things like global warming which is caused by the evolution in technology which caused ease in our daily routine comes with its advantages and disadvantages. talking about factories that releases toxic chemical as their waste, smoke running of vehichle or any industry is contageous in all terms which is egregiously harmfull for all living beings on the earth whether these are plants animal or human.
secondly waste coming out of homes factories palstic waste can be seen dumping in soil and water which kills micro species living in water and soil which helps maintain fertility of soils and cleaning waters and cause trouble for enviromental changes
according to my point of view other enviromental problems like global warming, waste like plastic and mirror or other hard objects which do not decomposed properly are the main problem in enviromental changes or destruction.
which is main reason that we are loosing certain species of plant and animal. Controlling these problem can save enviroment if handed conciously.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention global warming and waste as alternative problems, the link between these and the loss of species is not fully explored or supported with specific, concrete examples. The essay tends to list problems rather than discuss the implications of the two viewpoints in depth. To improve, ensure that each paragraph provides a more detailed explanation of why one issue might be considered more critical than the other, rather than just stating they are both harmful.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow is often interrupted by awkward phrasing and a lack of effective cohesive devices. Transitions between sentences are frequently missing or mechanical (e.g., 'secondly', 'talking about'). The referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the progression of your argument. For example, the transition from discussing industrial waste to the conclusion is abrupt. Using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would significantly improve the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and contains several errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'enviromental', 'loosing' (instead of losing), 'rottness', 'sorroundings', and 'conciously'. These errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'toxic chemical' and 'fertility of soils', the range is not sufficient to express complex ideas with precision. To reach a higher band, you should focus on accurate spelling and expanding your repertoire of academic collocations and synonyms to avoid repetitive phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Opinions of both groups is right'), missing articles, and incorrect word forms (e.g., 'smoke running of vehichle'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and missing commas. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the use of a wider range of complex structures. Focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and verb tense consistency.
