Student answer (Band 6.0)
For environment, few things are more dangerous than the extinction of animals and plants, although some argue that there is more crucial environmental problems are available than these. In many developed and developing countries a substantial amount of money is allocated to particular environmental organizations, as they often necessitates the use of various resources, such as experienced environment scientists, better technology and so on. Nowadays, many would agree that the modern world has nearly transcended its traditional boundaries and will soon become increasingly interconnected in its pursuit of save endangered plant and animal species, for the enrichment of environment. Nevertheless, I firmly believe that saving endangered species is far more responsible task than other problems.
Naturally, saving endangered species is considered more essential for every country, creating inexhaustible opportunities for ecological balance that are not possible from other sources. Moreover, giving priority to animals and plants that are on the way of extinct demonstrates unparalled benefits for environment, permeating and enhancing various aspects of our way of living. Since governments and individuals look for development by saving endangered species, ample investment in environmental organizations is imperative to elevate a more balanced modern nation. If this is adopted by goverments and enviroment concerned individuals, many species will stand to benefit significantly. Saving endangered species as a pressing issue in nations such as, Africa and New Zealand, for instance has emerged as a pivotal model for ecological balance, delivering enhanced services for their ennvironment.
On the other hand, there are several issues with the idea of saving particular species of animals and plants that make us consider alternatives. Under certain circumstances, governments may shy away from putting efforts on endangered species due to a range of challenges, encompassing lack of resources, least technologies, other fundamental environmental issues and natural environment disasters. While this approach is widely embraced in modern nations, governments in impoverished and developing nations frequently contend with profound financial constraints and deteriorating conditions, such as inadequate environment organization infrastructure, resource shortages, and institutional challenges when striving to implement this approach. Therefore, the notion of focusing on endangered species is not always appealing, particularly when more practical alternatives are available. From environment, social and national perspective if the goals of people dictate that focusing on other environment issues is not merely an option but an imperative they may choose to embrace it.
However, it is the responsibility of government to evaluate the role of various forms of environmental problems to focus and determine which approach will generate the greatest long-term benefits. Thus, it is evident that fostering an interest in endangered species is more beneficial for a nations sustainable future.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and occasionally lacks depth. For example, the argument for saving species focuses heavily on 'ecological balance' without providing specific, concrete examples of how this functions in practice. The discussion of alternative environmental problems is somewhat vague, referring to 'natural environment disasters' and 'institutional challenges' without clearly identifying what these competing priorities might be (e.g., climate change or pollution). While the position is consistent, the supporting arguments would benefit from more precise elaboration to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. Cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Nevertheless', and 'Therefore' are used to link ideas. However, there is a tendency for the flow to feel slightly mechanical, and some transitions are forced. For instance, the phrase 'From environment, social and national perspective' is grammatically awkward and disrupts the flow. Additionally, some referencing is unclear; the use of 'this approach' in the third paragraph is ambiguous, as it refers back to a complex set of ideas rather than a specific noun phrase. Overall, the progression of ideas is clear, but the management of cohesive devices could be more natural.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary range is adequate for the task, with attempts to use more sophisticated terms like 'imperative', 'pivotal', and 'transcended'. However, there are frequent issues with word choice and collocation. Examples include 'nearly transcended its traditional boundaries' (which is unclear in this context), 'on the way of extinct' (should be 'on the verge of extinction'), and 'least technologies' (should be 'lack of technology'). These errors occasionally impede the precision of the argument. While the student demonstrates a good attempt at academic vocabulary, the lack of accuracy in collocation prevents a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors that occur throughout the text, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('some argue that there is more crucial environmental problems are available') and incorrect preposition usage ('For environment' instead of 'Regarding the environment'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are minor errors, such as the unnecessary comma in 'nations such as, Africa'. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors, particularly with basic sentence construction and article usage, limits the score.
