IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Some people say that the main environmental problem of our time is the loss of particular species of plants and animals. Others say that there are more important environmental problems. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Some people are thinking that the particular environmental issue of our time is the loss of specific species of plants and animals. Others say that there are much more reasons in environmental problems. Solving the environmental problem is very crucial because it effect the daily life of people.

Few individuals have a thought of that the main problem of our era is the extinction of particular species of plants and animals. As plants are playing an important role in curing many diseases which maybe fatal, or a disease which may disturb daily life tasks. For instance, bronchitis can be cured through plants, or plants can be used in modern medicines. So, the benefits from extinct plants can't be taken. On the other hand, animals that are now extinct may affect the food web and also now we can't observe them practically, we have a great example of cyber tooth cat, or a white lions.

While, few believes that there are many other issues, that we are facing today in our society. Deforestation is one of the main problem, as cutting trees affect the temperature, On the other hand
