IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Some people say that the main environmental problem of our time is the loss of particular species of plants and animals. Others say that there are more important environmental problems. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The loss of particular any flora and funa disturb the whole ecosystem.We should consider this thing that every creature on this earth is made without any purpose. Every small thing on this Earth has its role in the environment. Plants are the source of food for many animal. If there is a loss of any flora ad funa it create a disturbance in the food chain .For example if this certain plant is the source of food for any other species then it distrub the whole food chain along with that it disturb the food web also.
I also agree with the facts there are other environmental problems are also there like the pollution,climate change and globla warming . They are also the factor of the extinction for that particular plants and animals.Whenever we disturb the nature we will have to face the consequences.Environmental Problems can be solved by reducing the pollution .Stake holders are also considering that we have to overcome environmental issue .Other wise our planet have to face rise in the temperature in coming year.They are giving more practical solutions like eco-friendly vehicles etc.
But Lossing natural things like plant and animal we cannot survive as if there is a loss of one specie there is an issue of food for the other species who is the predator or the prey of that particular species.So we cannot bear the loss of any particular flora and funa beacuse they are the part of the ecosystem and has its important role in the environment.
