According to the people who thinks that loss of particular spieces of plants and animals are the major drawback for our environment are right , because the every creation on Earth has it's own significance and plays an important role in the environment and a minor change in environment results in a major or harmful effect.

On the other hand the people who thought that there are other factors like factories ,smog, and air pollution have it's own way of thinking . Because today the advancements also have it's side effects and the most horrible side effect is the problems that we are facing today .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

The response addresses both views regarding environmental problems and provides a personal opinion, which satisfies the basic demands of the prompt. However, the ideas are relatively undeveloped and simplistic, such as briefly mentioning 'factories, smog, and air pollution' without deep elaboration. Furthermore, the response suffers from a significant penalty because it is under the required length, containing only 210 words instead of the minimum 250 words. This severe under-length restriction prevents the writer from fully extending their arguments and ideas as required by the higher band descriptors. As a result, the task achievement is limited, earning a band score of 4.5.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay uses some basic paragraphing, separating the introduction, the two opposing views, and the conclusion. However, the logical progression is weak and disjointed. Opening with rhetorical questions ('The question is what are the environmental problems now a days .?') is informal and inappropriate for an academic essay. Cohesive devices are minimal and mechanical, relying heavily on simple transitions like 'On the other hand' and 'By my opinion' (which should be 'In my opinion'). Referencing is also occasionally unclear. While the overall structure shows some organisation, the inadequate control over cohesive devices places this response securely at a band 5.0.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently reusing terms like 'environmental problems', 'advancements', and 'health problems'. There are noticeable word choice and collocation errors, such as 'svere health issue', 'I effected by the dengue', and 'give birth to mosquitoes' (which sounds unnatural in this context). Less common vocabulary is attempted with limited success ('significance', 'chronic diarrhea'), but frequent errors in spelling and word formation strain the reader and restrict the range to a minimally adequate level. This aligns with the descriptors for band 5.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The writing displays a limited range of sentence structures, with frequent attempts at complex sentences resulting in noticeable errors. Examples include subject-verb agreement errors ('the people who thinks', 'the every creation... has it's'), incorrect pronoun usage ('it's own opinions'), and awkward phrasing ('By my opinion, the advancements in todays society are'). Punctuation is also problematic, notably the inclusion of a question mark and full stop together ('..?'). While simple sentences are generally understandable, errors are frequent and often cause difficulty for the reader, justifying a band score of 4.5.
