IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Some people say that the main environmental problem of our time is the loss of particular species of plants and animals. Others say that there are more important environmental problems. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 4.5)

A significant proportion of people believe that in persent time loss of particular species of plants and animals are centeral environmental problem.Other say that there are more vital environmental problems.Other points have vaild reasons but in my opinion there are some other environmental issue we have to dicuss or governments should take actions on.

Those individuals say that the main ecologically problem of our time is decrease in numbers of species of plants and animals. This is because most of birds and animals even plants which are common in past years are know rarely see in persent time. For instance, a birds called woodpecker are very coommon birds which get notice in city's and in village areas but know they are invisible from very part of a country. Goverments write a artical on woodpeacker birds saying that they are become reare species of birds. So, people think that some species of plants and animals are less in number just because of environmental problem also they do not get the environment for those animals and plants to grow.

Others say that there are more important environmental problems. This is because every day on news they heard or read in newspaers about a new environments issues which affect the world in a large scale like ozone layer start damaging every day which affect the body of a human as well as animals which couse the dead of animals and humans in some arese of the country. For instance, every year the pollution increase and spread so many disease like due to air pollution austam increase in early age children.
