IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Some people say that the main environmental problem of our time is the loss of particular species of plants and animals. Others say that there are more important environmental problems. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Environment problem is the huge problem for our life . However, some people believe that loss of particular species of animals and plants are mainly causes by environmental problems . On the other hand other believe that there are more specific problems of environment problems expect this . In my opinion I think loss of particular species of plants and animals plays a vital role . Although there are more reasons of causing environmental problems .
On this hand, Majority of people believe that animals and plants loss is main causes of environmental problems such as destroying the live of deforestation cutting thousands of trees , cutting the plants and that's the reason we are enable to get fresh air from trees and also enable to get fruits from tree which is the example of environmental problems . Meanwhile the species of animals also loss there lives because they couldn't get food and fresh air from trees . That's the mainly reason people believe losses of species play a vital role in environmental problems .
On the other hand, Others think there was more significant reasons of environmental problems despite of animals and plants . Such as pollution which was the main reason of environmental problems . pollution from transportation , factories waste or industrial smokes which effect on air , water , and many diseases like dengue and malaria people enable to get fresh air and also they are affecting on oceans , lakes and river . Other believe this is the biggest issue of environmental problems as compare to species of animals and plants .
In my opinion, I strongly believe that the both views were a crucial in environmental problems because from plants we get fresh foods and carbon dioxide . However, animals provide us fresh protein like meat and milk . Although from pollution we can't received fresh air or suffering from many diseases . Therefore, they both are equal in environmental problems .
