It isconsidered that the disperence of particular species and animals is the most serious environmental issue today. While other people argue that other verious problems are main more vital. This essay will discuss both these view, but i believe that environmental obstables such as climate change and pollution are more urgent problems.
On the one hand, the loss of plants and animals species is a major conern. Every species play a vital role in maintaining the balance of nature, and desperence of one speice can affect of other organism. For example, the exinction of bees could reduce pollution, which is essential for many crops and plants. Moreover, human activities such as deforestation, hunting and urban development destroying natural habitats. Therefore, protecting endengered species is necessary to maintain biodiversity and health ecosystem.
On the other hand, there are environmental probllems that can effect a much larger numer of people. Climte change, water pollution and air pollution are serious threat to human health and natural environmet. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—the loss of specific species and other major environmental problems—and provides a clear opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven, placing the response firmly at this level. While the arguments regarding species loss and pollution are relevant, some points are under-developed or contain logical slips, such as stating that 'the exinction of bees could reduce pollution', which appears to be a confusion with pollination. Additionally, the exploration of how other issues contribute to wildlife loss is briefly touched upon in the third paragraph but lacks deep extension. The position is clear throughout, but the depth of support for each viewpoint could be more thoroughly elaborated to reach the next tier.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay demonstrates a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt at logical progression. The response is divided into four appropriate paragraphs, following a standard academic structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs representing opposing views, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are employed to signal transitions, using phrases such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion'. However, cohesion is at times mechanical or faulty, as seen in referencing errors like 'these isssue expended it can wipeout', where the connection between clauses becomes slightly blurred. Furthermore, paragraphing is evident and the progression of ideas is generally easy to follow, successfully meeting the criteria for a solid mid-level score while showing partial elements of higher organisational flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The writer uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task and attempts less common items such as 'biodiversity', 'ecosystem', and 'respiratory disease'. However, there are noticeable limitations and numerous errors in word choice, spelling, and word form that occasionally impede communication. Examples of lexical inaccuracies include 'disperence' instead of disappearance, 'verious' instead of various, 'obstables' instead of obstacles, 'conern' instead of concern, 'speice' instead of species, 'endengered' instead of endangered, 'probllems' instead of problems, 'Climte' instead of climate, 'Similaraly' instead of similarly, 'desiese' instead of disease, and 'expended' instead of expanded. These frequent lexical and orthographic errors restrict the vocabulary score to a basic, minimally adequate level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting structures such as subordinate clauses ('While other people argue that...'). However, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation throughout the text. These include subject-verb agreement issues like 'Every species play', article omissions and misuse such as 'health ecosystem' and 'a serious threat', incorrect prepositions or prepositional patterns like 'because we can use in our daily life', and punctuation errors, notably fragment sentences in the conclusion ('although the extinction of plants and animals is an important environmtal issue. But i believe...'). These non-systematic errors in basic and complex structures cause some difficulty for the reader and reflect a limited command of grammatical accuracy.
