Student answer (Band 4.5)
environmental crises are increasing day by day and eventually leading to all the suffering to humanity and nature. it wouldn't be wrong to say that loosing of specific species is the reason for such statement as it leads to these issues. species is meant to create a balance and harmony in the nature, without them it is not possible. extinction of these species causes lack of balance in nature and lead to disasters. some of the reason for species extinction are related to human irresponsibility. Advance technology like AI, network towers, technology centers releases harmful waves in environment that couses harm to the species. know as we see that extinction of species nad other environmental problems are related to each other. if we deep dive into the problem then we can see that the actual problem is no other the human itself, digging their own grave. in the search of advance future human are causing deforestation which causes problems like tsunami, earthquake, melting of glacier and other natural disaster. these issues causes misbalance in nature and lead to extinction of innocent animals. In summary we can see that there are another environmental problems but extinction of species is no less than any other problems.both these are leading to disaster and the humans greed for advancement is the actual problem in it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You recognise the two broad positions: species loss is environmentally serious, while other problems such as deforestation and natural disasters also matter. You also give a view that human activity is the underlying cause. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the response mainly argues that these problems are connected; it does not explain why other environmental problems might be considered more important than species loss. The examples about technology and harmful waves are asserted rather than supported, and the links between deforestation, earthquakes and tsunamis are unclear. The response is 30 words below the required minimum, which further limits the opportunity to develop the discussion. Explain each viewpoint separately, then justify your own position with accurate, specific examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a recognisable overall movement from the seriousness of species loss to human causes and then a concluding statement, so the reader can identify the general topic. However, the ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and the response moves abruptly between species extinction, technology, deforestation and disasters. Connections such as “these issues” and “these issues causes misbalance” are not always clear, while “in summary” introduces a conclusion without first establishing a balanced discussion. Several sentences also run together, making the progression harder to follow. Organise the response into an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Use linking phrases to show whether an example explains, contrasts with, or supports the point before it.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant environmental vocabulary, including “extinction,” “deforestation,” “environmental problems” and “natural disasters,” which helps communicate the subject. There are also attempts at more specific expressions such as “balance and harmony in nature” and “human irresponsibility.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, including “loosing of specific species,” “harmful waves in environment,” and “human greed for advancement.” Spelling errors such as “couses,” “nad” and “know” also make the writing less clear. Build a more precise vocabulary for causes and consequences, and check spelling and collocations. For example, distinguish species decline from extinction and describe environmental effects with established terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including “Extinction of these species causes lack of balance in nature and lead to disasters” and a sentence beginning “if we deep dive into the problem.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but control is inconsistent. Errors in agreement and verb forms occur in “causes … and lead,” “technology centers releases,” and “these issues causes.” Articles and sentence boundaries are also often missing or inaccurate, and most sentences begin with lowercase letters. These problems sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and correctly matched verb, then review articles and punctuation. Use a few well-controlled complex sentences rather than joining many claims into long, loosely connected sentences.
