Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
You state a position in the introduction—“I am completely agree with first point”—and give reasons related to plants and animals, including oxygen, pollution, and crops. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and your response focuses almost entirely on why plants and animals matter; it does not explain what other environmental problems might be more important or why. Several supporting claims, such as snakes removing germs through their breath, are unclear or unsupported, so the ideas are not sufficiently developed. The response is also 8 words below the required 250-word minimum. To improve, explain both sides, make your opinion precise, and support each main point with a clear, relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and the paragraphs broadly group related points about plants and animals. You also use basic linking expressions such as “Additionally” and “because.” However, progression within the paragraphs is difficult to follow: the first moves from oxygen to snake breath, animal urine, and crop growth without showing how these points connect. Some references, including “these” and “its,” are unclear, and the conclusion repeats earlier claims rather than bringing the discussion together. Use one central idea per paragraph, order supporting details logically, and add clear links between claims and examples.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “oxygen,” “air pollution,” “crops,” and “environmental diseases,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is basic and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “plants,” “environment,” and “pretty.” There are also frequent spelling and word-choice problems, such as “plnts,” “deseases,” “rise the pretty,” and “finish the air pollution,” which make some meanings difficult to understand. Aim for more precise environmental vocabulary and check spelling carefully. For example, describe plants as improving air quality or supporting biodiversity rather than saying they “finish” pollution.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, using connectors such as “because,” “when,” and “if,” and the reader can identify your general position. However, sentence structures are often inaccurate, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries regularly obscure meaning. Examples include “I am completely agree,” “plants provide oxygen to human,” and “the air pollution are increase.” Some long sentences combine several claims without clear punctuation, making their relationships hard to follow. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences with one clear main clause and correctly formed supporting clauses.
