Student answer (Band 5.5)

Some person believe that main natural problem of our time is the decrease of specified species of plants and animals but others says there are more valuable environmental problems . I partly agree with this agreement. In our time loss of particular species leads to destruction of humans because it play various roles in maintaining the ecological and environmental functions for the human and the recycling the oceans health but environment problems likes wildfires, air pollutions also trackle to fight for the future.

firstly, protecting the particular species and the animals play crucial ecological role by improving the fertility of soil , transfer of pollinations , maintaining balance to the environment. Secondly, they have various fetures which helps to improved our love to nature more better. thirldly, particular specis like tulsi , banyan plants is play important for purifiering of air with minimal disadvantage to nature. Last but not the least, it play various role in maintaining the raining water cycle not all species play role on it.

As we know that environment wildfires, air pollution is most of the biggest problem facing by wisdom creature homosepiens. Environment problems leads to destruction of all the species in the world. there is more than one sixth of species loss by different cause mainly human cause without showing empathy to the other creature. There is also pollution problem make us fully suffere without knowing the real problem behind us. people believe that the biggest maker of the problem is human ego which leads to extinction of all creature including them self. Forexample 200 years ago human extincted the species known as dodo due to environmental pollution.

In my point of views , both are important and concerning thing which should solved immediately without harming the nature and living the life without any problems.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views by discussing the ecological value of species and then identifying wildfires and air pollution as wider environmental threats. Your final sentence also gives a position, saying both concerns matter. However, the position is introduced as “I partly agree with this agreement,” which does not clearly explain what you agree with, and the conclusion does not resolve which view you consider more important. Several relevant points—such as species supporting soil fertility and pollination—are listed but not explained with clear cause-and-effect reasoning. The dodo example is relevant to extinction, but it is inaccurately linked to environmental pollution rather than human hunting. Develop each side with a specific, accurate example and state your comparative opinion clearly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on the importance of species, a paragraph on other environmental problems, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Last but not the least” help signal points. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because several claims are placed together without explaining their links. For example, the discussion moves from species’ ecological roles to “improving our love to nature” and then to air purification. Some linking phrases are repetitive or do not accurately show the relationship between ideas, and references such as “it” and “this agreement” are unclear. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it before moving on.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-specific vocabulary, including “ecological,” “fertility of soil,” “pollination,” “air pollution,” and “extinction,” so the response shows some awareness of the language needed for this topic. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “problem,” “species,” and “important,” while frequent inaccurate word choices and forms sometimes make meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “specified species,” “more valuable environmental problems,” “trackle,” and “purifiering.” Some expressions also do not collocate naturally, such as “raining water cycle” and “wisdom creature homosepiens.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than more complicated wording, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise terms for causes and consequences would make your arguments clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a contrast between the two views and a sentence beginning “because it play various roles.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, articles, plurals, and verb forms can make the reader work to understand your meaning. For example, “others says” should use a plural verb, while “it play” needs a singular verb form; “the animals play crucial ecological role” also has problems with number and article use. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are inconsistent, particularly in the paragraph beginning “As we know.” Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected supporting clause, then check subject–verb agreement and articles before adding further ideas.
