Student answer (Band 5.0)
A few people say that the major problem of present secnrio is to loss of particular species of plants but rest of them say that there are still more imprtant problems in todays world
No doubt , there are numeours problems in todays world but we cannnot just neglect the problem of decresing number of species of plants . Because plants providing alot of crucil things to not even humans but also other animals and earth's soil . First of plants providing food to almost every living being including humans , animals , birds , insects and plants themselves , even though they also provide shelter to animals , insects and birds . Moreover , they provied another very important things which none the technology or any other living being could do that is providing oxygen and helps to decrease the carbondioxide . besides it , they provide us medicines to cure from numerous diseases as well as they also prove us other improtant stuff like woods which is user in funitures , making homes and they also provie us paper which we use to write things . if there is no paper then there is no history , nothing to write laws ,blue prints and formulas to write .
On other side some people says that there are also more important problems ,like problem of unemployement which create other problem like poorness , What will you do with oxygen when havenot money to buy food because of your unemployment ?
In conclusion , there are number of problem in the world but i don't thing there is problem bigger than decreasing in number of plants and their differnt species

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall view that the decline in plant species is the more serious problem, and you explain several ways plants benefit people and other living things, including food, shelter, oxygen, medicine and materials. However, the task asks you to discuss the loss of particular plant and animal species as well as other environmental problems. Your response focuses almost entirely on plants, and the opposing view is represented mainly by unemployment, which is not an environmental problem. The question’s second perspective therefore remains insufficiently addressed, and the examples are mostly listed rather than developed. To strengthen the response, discuss a relevant alternative such as climate change or pollution, explain its effects, and compare it directly with biodiversity loss before stating your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
Your response has a basic structure: an opening, a paragraph supporting the importance of plants, a brief opposing point, and a conclusion. This gives the reader some sense of organisation, and phrases such as “Moreover” and “On other side” signal relationships between ideas. However, progression is limited because the main body largely becomes a list of plant benefits, while the opposing view receives only one rhetorical question. Some links are inaccurate or mechanical, and the conclusion repeats the opening position without drawing together the discussion. Organise the body into two balanced paragraphs—one for species loss and one for another environmental problem—and use clear references and transitions to show how each point supports your comparison.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “species,” “oxygen,” “carbon dioxide,” “medicines,” and “unemployment,” so the general subject is understandable. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response difficult to read, such as “secnrio,” “imprtant,” “decreseing,” and “poorness.” Some combinations are also unnatural, including “plants providing a lot of crucial things” and “decreasing in number of plants.” Repeated use of “provide” and “important” further limits precision. Build a more accurate environmental vocabulary and check spelling carefully; phrases such as “biodiversity loss,” “ecosystem services,” and “habitat destruction” would help you express the topic more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example with “even though” and “because,” but complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to interrupt reading. Examples include “plants providing” where a finite verb is needed, “some people says” instead of subject–verb agreement, and “there are number of problem” with missing articles and incorrect plurals. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly in the long list of plant benefits. Most sentences follow simple patterns, so the range is limited. Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Proofread agreement, articles, plural forms, and punctuation before submitting.
