Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and state a clear preference for the view that other environmental problems are more important: “I am fully stand with the second opinion.” The examples about medicinal plants and animals’ practical roles are relevant, and air pollution gives some support for your position. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The second view is mainly asserted through a comparison with species loss, without explaining specific consequences of pollution or why these outweigh biodiversity loss. Your conclusion restates a general aim shared by both sides rather than reinforcing your own reasoning. Develop each view with a clearer explanation and a specific example, then make your final position more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, a paragraph stating your opinion, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of the essay. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “In the other side” does not connect the contrast naturally, while “so” introduces your opinion without showing how the preceding point leads to it. The final paragraph repeats the general purpose of protecting the environment rather than drawing together the discussion. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example to the claim it supports; vary linking expressions and make references between ideas more precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “disappearance,” “Eco-system,” “pollution,” “pollutants,” and “air pollution,” so the subject is generally identifiable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the response difficult to interpret, such as “the main reason of the first group consideration” and “the guard of their properties.” Spelling and word-form errors are also noticeable, including “effictive,” “consquenses,” and “openion.” These issues reduce precision even when the intended meaning can be inferred. Build a bank of accurate environmental collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; aim to express the same ideas with more natural phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “if we have lost many different types … we could't able to make use of this species” and a contrast introduced by “Nevertheless.” However, complex constructions are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences hard to follow. Examples include “the most critical problem affect the environment,” “we could't able,” and “it's depend on the behaves of the people.” There are also problems with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, as in “make our world safe place.” Practise building accurate clauses before adding complexity, especially conditional forms, subject–verb agreement, and verb patterns. Proofread punctuation and sentence structure so each idea is expressed in a complete, controlled sentence.
