Student answer (Band 5.0)

There has been ongoing debatable about whater the major environmental problem that is occure in this era. While some individuals believe that deficency of prticular of species of plants and animals has faced in environment. While other argue that there are more crucial environmental preoblems are noted here. This essay will discuss both perspectives before presenting my own opinion.

On the one hand, proponents says losses of biodiversity in major problem because plants is biggest source of birds leaving. If cut the plants birds having no space to grow and layed there eggs in this way animal poplution will not reproduced and its become indengerd species. In addition every animal is food for other animals or humans. If strangth of the animals decreses deficiency of food will be take placed. A particularly goof example is that fishmen growing fishes in form if loss of fishes happend due to any reason decises, camical reaction, climate changing ect its couse deficiency of food produced.

On the other significent factor is that some peoples says other more important envirnmental problems is present in the environment. First one is air pulliton, Many factries working near population areas suffer from diseases in pullited air. so children in there areas tasting decises of lungs cancer, eye sight weekness etc. Secondly climate changes is aslo a biggest problem suddenly change in climate may become the reason of crops distraction so food deficiency will be coused.

From my prospective, other more important envirnmental problems is main environmental problem is public health industry revolation couse health problem like hart decsis, lungs infaction, stamic problem etc.

In conclusion while both views have their own merits, I believe that loss of particular species of plants and animals is major problem at that time because it is more practical in the long run.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views and give a personal position, so the response is relevant to the task. The biodiversity paragraph explains that habitat loss can reduce animal populations and affect food supplies, while the next paragraph introduces air pollution and climate change. However, the discussion is only partial: the examples are difficult to follow, and the final opinion shifts from species loss in the conclusion to public health and industrial pollution in the body. The conclusion then supports species loss as the main problem without explaining why it outweighs the other issues. Develop each view with a clear, specific example and keep your position consistent throughout. The response meets the required length; eight words copied from the task prompt were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting different views, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the one hand,” “On the other,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear because several ideas are joined without clear relationships, as in the explanation about plants, birds, and endangered species. Some linking is repetitive or awkward, and the shift from the opinion about public health to the conclusion favouring species loss weakens the overall progression. Use one main idea per paragraph, explain how each example supports it, and make the position in the introduction, body, and conclusion consistent.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “biodiversity,” “species,” “climate changes,” and “food deficiency.” This shows an effort to discuss environmental issues beyond everyday subjects. However, the range is limited and many spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “deficency of prticular of species,” “air pulliton,” and “crops distraction.” Some expressions are also imprecise, including “plants is biggest source of birds leaving,” which obscures the intended point about habitat. Build a reliable set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and natural word combinations. Prefer precise phrases such as “loss of habitat,” “declining populations,” and “crop failure” where they fit your meaning.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You try to use more than simple sentences, including conditional structures such as “If cut the plants birds having no space” and a contrastive opening with “While.” However, these attempts are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence structure, verb forms, and agreement make the argument hard to follow. For example, “proponents says” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, while “animal poplution will not reproduced” has an incorrect verb form. Several sentences also lack a complete grammatical structure or combine clauses unclearly. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled complex forms using “if,” “because,” and “although.” Check that each sentence has a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
