Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views: the first body paragraph presents protecting plant and animal species, while the next identifies pollution from factories, litter and transport. Your conclusion also gives a preference for broader solutions, so the response is relevant to the question. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening is difficult to interpret, and the conclusion says environmental protection needs “more than just” creating habitats without clearly stating which problems you consider most important. Ideas are also limited and under-developed. For example, you mention that planting trees can benefit people’s health, but do not explain how or provide a specific example. Develop each view with clearer reasons and support, then state your opinion directly and consistently.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views and a conclusion. Phrases such as “In the one hand” and “In the other hand” signal the intended contrast, and the examples of factories, litter and transport give the second body paragraph a general focus. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because several points are joined into long, loosely connected sentences. The opening sentence is especially unclear, and links such as “therefor” and “addition” do not reliably show how ideas relate. Some transitions are also repetitive or inaccurate. Use clear topic sentences, divide related points into shorter sentences, and connect each example explicitly to the argument it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to environmental issues, including “pollution,” “species,” “carbon” and “human safety,” and you refer to several sources of environmental damage. However, the range is limited and many spelling, word-choice and collocation errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “low place of plants and animals,” “build more particular species” and “the smoke how are fall in the road.” These expressions do not communicate the intended ideas naturally. Repeated use of general words such as “problem” also limits precision. Learn accurate topic phrases and check spelling carefully; for instance, describe species as endangered or disappearing, and explain that vehicles emit exhaust fumes that pollute the air.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to express contrast and give reasons, but sentence structures are mostly limited, and attempts at longer sentences are often faulty. Errors in verb forms and sentence construction appear in phrases such as “we having problem,” “people who said” and “we must to find away.” Articles, agreement and punctuation are also inconsistent, making some sentences hard to follow; the opening sentence, for example, lacks a clear grammatical structure. Although the reader can identify the broad topic, these frequent errors sometimes obscure the relationships between ideas. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using controlled clauses such as “although” and “because.” Check each sentence for a subject, a correctly formed verb and appropriate punctuation.
