Student answer (Band 5.0)

Some peolpe say that main environmental problems are loss of aprticular species with plants and rare animals, while some other we have more important than that, but from my personal point of view all problems are more important for us, if its related to our environmental.

Overall, its depend on which types of envirmental problems mostly people can face, biggest dificulties that can a person face that also more important for them, like a job person can did a loss 1000$ on the other hand a person loss upto to 10000$, but they both have maximum loss from their personal point of view.

Furthermore, loss of particular species of rare plants and animals are more important for them, that can also be true because it is important for us on various fields like for oxygen even if we can got it from other plants and also known as animals, they are also more important for us on different types works like plough, for transport in past as more as it is.

Moreover, from other point of view who say that other environmental problems are also we want to be work on, they are aslo speaks truth. personaly many other problems also important for us like air pollution as well as other types of pollutions are need to be work.

In conclution, environmental problem like loss of particular species of plants are also need to be work on and save their lifes, but other environmental problems that are also more importent for us like air pollution are also needs to be solve for human lifes, so we can genaraly no need to works on specific one all problems can needs equally to be solves.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views: the paragraph beginning “Furthermore” gives reasons why species loss matters, while the next paragraph recognises pollution as another serious concern. Your conclusion also states a general position that environmental problems should all be addressed. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening says “all problems are more important,” which does not clearly explain how the two views compare. The supporting ideas remain limited and sometimes unclear. For example, the discussion of species mentions oxygen and animals’ past uses, but does not explain how species loss creates environmental harm or give a specific example. Develop each view with a clear reason and relevant example, then state directly which view you consider more important, or why both deserve attention.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Connectors such as “Furthermore,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help signal movement between sections. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the second paragraph introduces a comparison about personal financial losses that is not clearly linked to environmental priorities. Some links are also awkward or repetitive, and references such as “that” in “that can also be true” do not clearly identify the idea being discussed. Organise the body around one view per paragraph, use topic sentences to state each paragraph’s main point, and make links between claims explicit rather than relying mainly on transition words.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “loss of particular species,” “rare plants and animals,” and “air pollution,” so the reader can identify the subject of the essay. However, the range is limited, and repeated general words such as “important,” “problems,” and “work” make the discussion imprecise. Several word choices and collocations are difficult to understand, for example “work on” environmental problems and “save their lifes.” Spelling errors such as “envirmental,” “dificulties,” and “conclution” are also noticeable and can distract the reader. Build a more precise set of environmental terms and check spelling; for instance, use “address pollution” and “protect endangered species” to express your ideas more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses linked with “while,” “because,” and “even if.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and verb forms sometimes make the meaning hard to follow. For example, “some other we have more important than that” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “it depend” and “pollutions are need” show problems with subject–verb agreement and verb construction. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly where sentences run together. Practise writing clear subject–verb sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Check each sentence for a complete main clause, correct verb form, and appropriate punctuation.
