Student answer (Band 5.5)
A large number of people argue that the major environmental issues of our time are lossing of especially species of plants and animals. Others believe that there are more ambience problems. In this essay I will negotiate both views, and in my view, both are serious, but I believe climate change and pollution are more urgent because they affect both humans and wildlife on a large scale.
On the one hand, there are numerous reasens behind the major environmental issues. One of the crucial problems is that lossing of species. Now, the forest is demolished by individuals thanks to they build accommodation. Everyday, people are cutting trees and cleaning the forest instead of plant's. Consequently, we are lossing various species and animals. So, these are major impact on our environment and new science discoveries. Scienties can discover medicine from animals and trees.
On the other hand, climate change and pollution are more effect on the environmental issues, because they can affect both humans and wildlife on the large scale. For example, In Dhaka city is polluted different way such as excessive vehicles and industrial revolations. These occured like air, sound and soil pollution in everyday. As a result, these are hitted different way on the climate. The climate change are massive effect on agriculture. Thus farmer can not harvesting crops properly.
In conclusion, while behind the environmental problems have destroyed ecosystem and evaporate creature, climate change and pollution are significant affecting on the ambience. I contend that government and individuals encourage each other protects the environmental problems.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and state a clear position: species loss is serious, but climate change and pollution are more urgent because they affect people and wildlife. The body paragraphs include relevant support, such as forest clearance, the potential discovery of medicines, and pollution in Dhaka. However, the two sides are not developed equally: the discussion of species loss gives a useful consequence, while the explanation of how pollution affects climate and farming is less clear. The conclusion also introduces ecosystem destruction without clearly summarising the comparison, and the recommendation that governments and individuals “encourage each other” is not specific. Explain the causes and consequences more precisely and support your opinion with a clearer example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the discussion, and the examples generally appear in the relevant paragraphs. However, some links between ideas are mechanical or unclear. For instance, “As a result, these are hitted different way on the climate” does not clearly show how the listed forms of pollution affect climate, and “while behind the environmental problems” makes the conclusion difficult to follow. Use clearer cause-and-effect links and ensure pronouns such as “these” have an unmistakable reference. A more direct concluding summary would also strengthen the progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-specific vocabulary, including “species,” “pollution,” “ecosystem,” “agriculture,” and “industrial,” and some choices communicate the intended environmental themes. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation, word forms, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “ambience problems,” “lossing,” “forest is demolished,” “industrial revolations,” and “evaporate creature.” These are not simply stylistic choices: several do not express the intended meaning naturally. Build a reliable set of environmental collocations, such as “habitat destruction,” “species loss,” and “industrial emissions,” and check spelling and word forms. More precise vocabulary would help you explain your ideas without relying on vague phrases such as “different way.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple sentences and attempts at more complex structures, including “because they can affect both humans and wildlife” and “while … climate change and pollution…”. This gives the response some variety, but grammatical control is inconsistent. Examples include “thanks to they build accommodation,” “these are major impact,” “The climate change are massive effect,” and “farmer can not harvesting crops.” These show problems with clause structure, agreement, articles, and verb forms. Some sentences remain understandable, but others require the reader to infer the intended relationship. Practise building accurate cause-and-effect sentences and check subject–verb agreement and verb patterns. For example, use “farmers cannot harvest crops properly” and “climate change has a major effect on agriculture.”
