Student answer (Band 5.0)

Weather the loss of species of plants and animals consitutes the main enviourment problem of our time is a topic of considerable debate. While some support the loss of particular species of plants and animals while, other support the climate or enviourment problems. This essay will examine both respective views and present a blanced viewpoint.

From my perspective, the rapidly changing the world, people do not interecting with social activities or do not donate in charity. Thus, the problem is occured and loss the species of plants and animals. Before people were used some plants as a medicines to recovered from disease. However, the plant species growed less so it do not helped much as a previous time. The some animals are becoming quite less in forest. The goverments reported the many animals are died or they do not tried to give birth due to people started cut the forest land and many animals lived with nearest place so chanced will be increased to kill other animals.

People who support the second view, there are many aspects which considerable as problems. Nowadays, people started to drive or ride vehicles so, pollution will be increased over last 10 years. Although, people cuts the green tree for better accomodation. So, it fully affected on climate and the summar season becoming stable. Without moonsoon time we do not grow as much high food and fruits.

In conclusion, People have try to save plants and animal for better healthy lifestyle. Also, people have not cuts the tree and save green times on earth.

According to me this both topic will be considerable as a main problem becuase we want to save our next generasation so animals also want to save their next generation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You introduce the topic and attempt to discuss both views, then give a position in the conclusion. However, the response only partially fulfils the task because the two sides are not clearly explained or supported. The first body paragraph links species loss to people not participating in social activities or donating to charity, which does not establish why biodiversity loss is the main environmental problem. The second paragraph mentions vehicles, pollution, tree cutting and climate, but the effects are only briefly stated. Your conclusion says both issues are important, yet does not clearly compare them or explain which you consider more serious. Develop each view with a clear cause-and-effect explanation and a relevant example, then state a consistent, specific opinion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can recognise an intended overall structure. The paragraphs also broadly separate species loss from other environmental problems. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the connection between charity, species loss and medicinal plants is unclear, and the discussion of animals shifts abruptly to forest clearing. Linking expressions such as “However,” “Thus” and “Although” are attempted, but some do not express the relationship between the ideas accurately. The final opinion is also separated from the conclusion by a paragraph break, weakening the ending. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, explain it in a logical sequence, and use clear references and transitions to show how each point supports your argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “species,” “pollution,” “climate,” “forest” and “generation,” and some phrases communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, such as “save green times on earth,” “the summar season becoming stable” and “the plant species growed less.” There are also frequent spelling errors, including “enviourment,” “goverments” and “becuase,” which reduce the clarity and accuracy of the writing. Aim to learn environmental vocabulary in useful combinations, such as “habitat destruction,” “biodiversity loss” and “rising emissions,” and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would help you explain causes and consequences without relying on vague expressions such as “the problem.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession beginning “Although” and a relative clause in “animals lived with nearest place.” However, the range is limited, and complex attempts are often faulty. Errors in verb forms and sentence structure occur in examples such as “people do not interecting,” “the problem is occured,” and “people have not cuts the tree.” Agreement and article use are also inconsistent, as in “the plant species … it do not helped” and “as a medicines.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking subject–verb agreement, tense, articles and plural forms. Proofreading each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb would improve control.
