Student answer (Band 5.0)
There is an ongoing debate about the main reason of the environmental problems are rising due to deforestment of the plants and reduction in the amount of animals, while others say that there are more significant number of envirnment problems. In this essay, i will discuss the main reasons of environment problems and give my opinion.
To begin with, forest and animals plays a vital role to maintain environment. The deforestation of different kinds of plants and the loss of animals are the mian reason to distrub the environment. This is because the forest are the main source which provide the oxygen to balance carbon dioxide which emits from daily life vehicles. In the stablization with nature, we have to rely on other things than nature like Plants and Animals. In illustration, Imran Khan was the president who predicted the environment problems in Pakistan, so he made a new developement for giving duty of all citizen to add plants everywhere.
On the other side, people arre saying that there are more important environment challenges than the loss of habitants. Reforestation is playing a vital role to maintain the environment because it is the main points of environment issue. From my perspective, it is true that habitants are the considerable value for the stabalize the the maintance of environment, which helps us to breathe in the carbon emission zone.
In conclusion, the reduction in the species of pants and animals are making challenges for maintaining the environment. To maintain, the government should have to make a law for those companies whose use it for production and make a project to add on plants in the countries. I firmly believe that the above enforcement law overcome on the environment issues.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You identify the topic and state a view, and your first body paragraph gives a relevant reason why species loss matters: forests absorb carbon dioxide and support environmental balance. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the second view is not clearly explained. The paragraph beginning “On the other side” mentions reforestation and habitats, but does not identify or develop other major environmental problems, such as climate change, pollution or water scarcity. Your position also shifts: you initially focus on species loss, then say other challenges are more important, without clearly resolving this contrast. The example about Imran Khan is not sufficiently connected to the argument. Develop both sides with specific explanations and make your opinion explicit throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “On the other side” and “In conclusion” help show the intended structure. However, progression within and between paragraphs is often unclear. For example, “In the stablization with nature, we have to rely on other things than nature” does not clearly connect to the preceding point about forests and oxygen. The second body paragraph repeats the importance of reforestation and habitats rather than developing a distinct opposing view. Some linking phrases are also used mechanically, and references such as “it” in “whose use it for production” are unclear. Organise each paragraph around one clear claim, then explain and support it before moving to the next point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “deforestation,” “carbon dioxide,” “reforestation” and “species,” which gives the response some relevant environmental language. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make ideas difficult to understand. Examples include “deforestment,” “significant number of environment problems,” “loss of habitants” and “overcome on the environment issues.” Spelling errors such as “envirnment,” “mian” and “stabalize” also reduce clarity. Some phrases repeat “vital role” and “environment” without adding precision. Build a more accurate set of terms for the two sides of the question, and check spelling, word forms and natural combinations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason clause beginning “This is because” and a relative clause in “companies whose use it for production.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences hard to follow. For example, “the main reason … are rising” has a subject–verb and sentence-structure problem, while “forest and animals plays” and “the forest are” show inconsistent agreement. Articles, plurals and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “the stablize the the maintance.” Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and checking each clause for a clear subject and verb. Greater control of these basics will make your ideas easier to understand.
