Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You introduce both views and give an opinion, so the response is relevant to the question. However, the discussion is minimal and the final position—“for both statement i believed in the invironmental problems”—does not clearly say which view you support or explain why. The examples about tree loss, pollution, transport and plastic are mentioned but not developed into clear reasons or specific evidence. The response also contains 186 words, below the required 250; the 63 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. This limits how fully you can address both sides. To improve, explain each view with a clear cause-and-effect example, then state and justify your own position directly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the intended parts of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear, and linking phrases are repetitive or inaccurately used. For example, “On the second hand” and repeated openings with “While” do not connect the ideas naturally, while “So” is used to introduce conclusions without making the relationship clear. The conclusion largely repeats the prompt rather than bringing the argument together. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, arrange supporting details in a logical order, and use a smaller range of accurate links such as “Furthermore” or “As a result.”
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “species,” “pollution,” “transportation,” “plastic,” and “environmental problem,” which makes the subject recognisable. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and inaccurate word choice or spelling sometimes makes meaning difficult to follow. Phrases such as “pollution level,” “plastic impact earth,” and “animals death without food for trees and plant” are not expressed naturally or precisely. There are also spelling errors, including “perticular,” “oxigen,” and “invironmental.” Build a more accurate set of environmental collocations and check spelling carefully. For instance, describe “rising pollution levels,” “plastic pollution damaging soil,” or “habitat loss threatening wildlife.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt some longer sentences and use basic connectors to show cause and result, as in “The transportation recendly increased most of the country, so that pollution level also increased.” However, sentence structures are limited, and frequent errors in sentence formation, verb forms, agreement, articles and punctuation make several ideas hard to interpret. For example, “some people believed that environmental problem of our main reason loss” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “Other people say that more important environmental problems” is incomplete. Commas are often missing after introductory phrases, and sentences run together. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “because,” “which,” and “as a result.”
