Student answer (Band 5.0)
In today's era of modern day environmental problem became the major talk of the town
in every corner of the world.
Different people have different kinds of opinion about the environment and the way it gets destroyed.
Few section of people have raised their voice about extinction of certain plants and animal species and other section of people have opinionated that there are other reasons for the problems of environment
Both the opinions may have weight to their perspectives
In the opinion of the first category that it might cause great damage to the environment if plants and animals spices
gets extinct for example if tigers and honey bees gets extinct it could be great loss to the environment they may cause spillover effects in environment so instead of crying over the spill over milk it is better to cure the problem
In the others point of view damage to environment may be by other means like pollution and deforestation
When such a thing happens and gets out of our hands it is better to bite the bullet and protect our environment
so it is to say prevention is better than cure when crying over things already happened
In the opinions of both the category it has to be taken in consideration thatt both have the weight about the topic
Environment can be damaged by both the reasons like spices extinction and other like pollution both things need to be taken serious and protect our environment
And save humanity from great danger

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views by discussing species extinction and other threats such as pollution and deforestation, and you conclude that both deserve attention. The examples of tigers and honey bees are relevant and show an attempt to explain why species loss matters. However, the discussion remains partial: the effects of extinction are only briefly mentioned as “spillover effects,” while pollution and deforestation are named without explaining their consequences or why they may be more important. Your own position is also not clearly established until the later statements that both views have weight. Develop each side with a specific reason or example, then state your judgement clearly in the introduction and reinforce it in the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The response has a basic sequence: an introduction, a paragraph on species loss, a paragraph on other environmental problems, and a concluding idea. This gives the reader some sense of the two sides being discussed. However, progression between points is weak, and several short statements repeat the same conclusion, such as “both have the weight” and “both things need to be taken serious.” Paragraphing is also inconsistent, with some ideas presented as separate lines rather than developed together. Linking phrases such as “In the others point of view” are awkward and do not clearly connect the argument. Group related ideas into clear paragraphs and use transitions to show contrast, explanation, and conclusion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “extinction,” “deforestation,” “pollution,” and “spillover effects,” and some idiomatic expressions show an effort to vary your language. However, the range is limited and several choices or collocations are inaccurate, which can make the meaning less clear. For example, “plants and animals spices” appears where “species” is intended, and “crying over the spill over milk” mixes an idiom with the environmental point. Phrases such as “opinionated that” and “damage to environment” are also unnatural in this context. Aim for precise environmental terms and use idioms sparingly; accurate, direct wording will make your ideas easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use mostly simple sentence patterns and make some attempts to connect ideas with clauses, as in “if tigers and honey bees gets extinct it could be great loss.” However, complex attempts are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the reader pause. Examples include subject–verb agreement (“bees gets”), missing articles (“a great loss”), and incomplete or awkward sentence construction, such as “In the others point of view damage to environment may be by other means.” Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, with several sentences lacking clear full stops. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea, then add subordinate clauses only when you can control their grammar and punctuation.
