Student answer (Band 5.0)

Environmental problem is a biggerst problem over the world. While some people believe that loss of spacies of plants and animals are very big issue. Although i differenciate both respective views due to all people and plants or animal have the big role on world.

On the one hand, nowadays people have high chances of disease at a teenager time. This is fully depends on climate, air, food and pollution which is affected people life. Moreover, people have not care about environmental problem due to their busy task and life. However, it's affected their future generation but there are certain aspect which maintane by pepople who cares about environment.

From my perspective, Most of use public transport if the bus and people time match to reached at destination so it would be benificial both from customer and govrnment due to affordable ticket price. Although, it would be becomming less pollution. People should avoid stree foods and unauthorised restaurant due to lack of hyginic products. Which is affect our body and mind for the long time.

On the other hand, people who supported the second view, species and animals showing less nowadays due to their unavailablity in the world. People are cut the trees and forest to want to better accomodation and land. However, many disease have not any medicine to recovered from that.

The plants would be easily helpful to recover from fever or any disease. The animals countted less in our world and the next generation would be not able to see animals and nature of their lifes. Moreover, it becoming very expensive to see the animals in zoo.

In conclusion, the both problem is important nowadays and it has significant drowback on our socity. The suggested that less use of private vehicle and maintane cleaness. Moreover, stop the cuts of tree and forest due to unavailablity of animals and plants. People have not disturb their life and nature for getting better life style.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You attempt to discuss both views and give recommendations, but the response only partially addresses the question because the two environmental positions are not clearly explained or compared. The opening mentions species loss, while much of the first body paragraph shifts to human disease, public transport and food hygiene; these points do not establish why other environmental problems are more important. The later paragraphs do mention habitat destruction and declining animal numbers, and the conclusion supports protecting nature, but your own position is difficult to identify consistently. To strengthen the response, explain the competing views directly—for example, why biodiversity loss matters and why climate change or pollution may be more urgent—and support each with a relevant example before stating which view you find more convincing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has separate paragraphs and uses signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion,” so the reader can recognise an intended structure. However, there is no clear progression of ideas: the first body paragraph moves from disease to people’s busy lives, and the next shifts to transport and food hygiene without a clear link to the task’s two views. Some linking words are also used in ways that do not show the intended relationship, as in “Although, it would be becoming less pollution.” References such as “the second view” are not fully clear because the views have not been defined consistently. Organise the essay around one paragraph for each view, then add a focused conclusion; connect each example explicitly to its main point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant environmental vocabulary, including “pollution,” “species,” “forest,” “public transport,” and “future generation,” which helps communicate the general topic. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “loss of spacies,” “high chances of disease at a teenager time,” “unavailablity,” and “significant drowback.” Some phrases, such as “better accomodation and land,” do not express the intended idea precisely. Build a more accurate set of topic phrases, such as “species extinction,” “habitat destruction,” and “air pollution,” and check spelling and word forms. Choosing precise expressions will also help distinguish biodiversity loss from other environmental concerns.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt a mixture of simple sentences and longer structures, including clauses introduced by “while,” “although,” and “due to.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction sometimes make meaning unclear. For example, “This is fully depends on climate” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “people have not care” and “People are cut the trees” use incorrect verb forms. The fragment “Which is affect our body and mind” is not a complete sentence, and “the both problem is important” has agreement and article problems. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Check each sentence for a clear subject, a correctly formed verb and complete punctuation.
