Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, some individual say that the modren era in environmental problem is the loss of specific species of plants and animals while the other argue there are numerous vital environmental problems rather than this.this essay will explore both sides the argument, before reaching a logical opinion.
on the one hand, the supporter of the idea that environmental problem of this time is loss of specific plants and animals believe that as a result of less use of environmental factor. As not use of the basic factor which are required to species is cause the loss of flora and funna .the recent survey of environmental science is revealed that the species of flora and funna are not particularly used the factors which enhanced their breed rate so they reduce their species.
while on the other hand ,the advocates of the view that there are numerous vital environmental problems like as excessive use of carbon emmission.the are major cuasing of enivronmental peoblems they are dangerous for this i have seen many problem related to evironments in my universiry where the students are facing this type of diseses problem ,hence this point of view also carries some weightage.
however,i believed that the balnaced use of enivronmental factors are reduces the rate of environmental problems.
to sum up,even though some might think that less use of environmental factors and some others might have the opinion that excessive use of carbon emmission, but i am of the view that blanced use of environmental factors is maintaining the evnvironmental problems.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You attempt to discuss both views and state an opinion, so the response is relevant to the question. However, the two positions are not explained clearly enough to address the task fully. The first paragraph about species loss relies on unclear claims about the “less use of environmental factor” and does not explain how human activity causes species to disappear. The opposing view mentions carbon emissions and a university health example, but the link between these and wider environmental problems is only briefly stated. Your opinion about the “balanced use” of environmental factors is also difficult to interpret and is not supported with a specific reason. Develop each view with a clear explanation and a relevant example, then state precisely which problem you consider most important and why.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs, an opinion, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “on the one hand,” “while on the other hand,” and “to sum up” help signal the intended progression. However, the development within paragraphs is difficult to follow because several ideas are joined without clear logical links. For example, the discussion moves from species’ needs to their “breed rate” without explaining the connection, and the university example is introduced without showing how it supports the comparison. Some linking phrases are also used mechanically, and the opinion paragraph repeats the conclusion rather than advancing the argument. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example directly to the point it illustrates.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “species,” “carbon emission,” “flora and fauna,” and “environmental problems.” However, the range is limited and repeated use of broad terms such as “environmental factors” makes key ideas imprecise. Several word choices or combinations are difficult to understand, including “less use of environmental factor,” “weightage,” and “maintaining the environmental problems.” Spelling errors such as “modren,” “funna,” and “enivronmental” also reduce clarity. Aim for accurate, specific terms that express the intended environmental issue, and check spelling and collocations carefully. For instance, name particular causes such as habitat destruction or pollution rather than relying on the vague phrase “environmental factors.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentence forms, including a contrast between the two views and a concluding sentence beginning “even though.” However, complex constructions are often incomplete or inaccurately formed, which makes relationships between ideas hard to follow. For example, “As not use of the basic factor which are required to species is cause the loss” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “the balanced use … are reduces” has problems with agreement and verb form. Articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, as in “some individual say” and the run-on opening sentence. Build accuracy first with clear subject–verb–object sentences, then add subordinate clauses. Check agreement, verb forms, and punctuation when editing each sentence.
