Student answer (Band 5.0)
While some people believe that the decline of plants and animals species is the biggest problem today, others argue that there are more serious issues. This essay will discuss both prespectives before giving my own opinion on the matter.
On the one hand, many species lossing due to urban societies. This happens because individuals investing lots of money in socities rather than live in natural life. People destroy forest and used them as a source of income. So, species move to other places. For instance: According to Environment Institute report many birds and animals move to others country, due to forest cutting. Now, man establish zoo for seeing animals their but they is not protect them but put them in cage. Animals is also died in the small cage. State take strict actions against that person and protect the species and improve our enviroment That is the reason loss of species,
On the other hand, lots of health issues arise due to environmental problems. This happens because, people run behind the money they did not seen the long term disadvantages of forest, and plant. Now, man find place, view, and connect natural places for their health. Air popullation so rise due to reduction in forest. Forest inhale carbon dioxide it is dangerous for human and exale oxygen that is best for health. That process filtriation our air and all people live happy life. But today, man cut that forest and feel sad not to connect the natural atmosphere.Government makes park and small forest in every socity that contribute betterment of our society. That is other serious issues of environment.
To sum up, due to development of socities and cutting forest that impact of our life and my opinion is make part and state strick their rule for our environment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views by discussing species loss and broader environmental effects, and you give a position in the conclusion: you call for parks and stricter rules. However, the response only partially develops the task. The first view is linked mainly to forest destruction, while the second shifts to human health and air quality without clearly explaining why these are more important environmental problems than species loss. The example about a report is vague, and the discussion of zoos does not clearly support the argument. Your opinion is also difficult to identify until the final sentence. To strengthen the response, explain each side with a clear reason and a specific, relevant example, then state your view consistently in the introduction and conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This helps readers see that you intend to discuss both views. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear. In the first body paragraph, the move from forest destruction to migration, zoos, and government action is abrupt; the second similarly moves from health issues to forests, air quality, and parks. Some linking phrases, such as “This happens because” and “That is the reason,” are repeated or do not make the relationship between ideas clear. Organise each paragraph around one main point, explain it step by step, and use referencing and transitions that show how each example supports that point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “species,” “forest,” “carbon dioxide,” “oxygen,” and “environmental problems,” so the subject is generally recognisable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms make meaning difficult to follow, as in “urban societies,” “individuals investing lots of money in socities,” and “connect natural places.” Spelling errors such as “prespectives,” “popullation,” and “enviroment” are also noticeable. Some phrases appear to be direct or inaccurate combinations, including “forest inhale carbon dioxide” and “man establish zoo.” Build a more precise set of environmental collocations and check spelling and word forms. For example, use “deforestation,” “air pollution,” and “protect wildlife” where appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer cause-and-effect sentences, for example, “This happens because…” and “Forest inhale carbon dioxide…” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make several sentences difficult to understand. Verb forms and agreement are often inaccurate: “many species lossing,” “people destroy forest and used them,” and “they is not protect them.” Articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “man establish zoo” and the run-on sequence beginning “Forest inhale carbon dioxide.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “which,” or “so.” Check that each subject has a matching verb and that sentences are punctuated clearly.
