Student answer (Band 5.0)

Over recent years environmental problem caused to loss particular species of plants and animals and there other environmental problems has become a hotly debated issue in society. Few individuals believe that because of environmental problems a lot of animals and plants are dying because of its negative impact on society. While others argue that the are more important environmental problem is more beneficial due to its effect on humans and the lifestyle.

In this essay I will examine both perspectives before presenting my own opinion on this matter.

On the one hand, few individuals argue that using an necessarily fuel and more plastic that cause to damage the plant and and make the life of humans in risk people can not breath very well to avoid these things is the better option. On of the main reason for this is to stop using plastic in society and avoid from unnecessarily driving the cars. For example using to Mach plastic stuff in Afghanistan in 2019 the cause a lot individuals start breathing problem.

On the other hand, others believe that the are importent things to take care of that firstly , individuals greeting problems because of bad environmental if we don’t care the environment people getting faster sick and the plant is the main source to reduce the fresh air no longer we will have that and that cause people becoming more sick.

In my opening, while both arguments have merit, I believe that the are more important problems for environmental such as bad pollution using to Mach fuels and production of plastic is the more convincing viewpoint to avoid these stuffs.

In conclusion, although few individuals argue that the main problem of the bad environment loss the plant and animals and others believe that the are more important problems for environment. After the consideration both perspectives, I believe that the are more main problems for environmental to take care of the and its ultimately the better approach because of its positive impact on individuals and society as a whole.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You attempt to discuss both views and state a preference, particularly in the introduction and the paragraph beginning “On the other hand.” However, the two positions are not clearly distinguished: the first body paragraph focuses on plastic and fuel use rather than explaining why species loss is considered the main environmental problem. Your own view also shifts or remains unclear, since you first refer to “more important environmental problems” and then describe pollution as the more convincing viewpoint without directly comparing its effects with species loss. The examples and reasons are difficult to follow, and claims such as the Afghanistan example are not explained. Develop one relevant reason for each view, support each with a clear example, and state a consistent, direct opinion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable essay structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers identify the intended stages. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from fuel and plastic to breathing problems without clearly connecting these points to species loss, while the second repeats that environmental damage makes people sick. Some linking phrases are also awkward or unclear, including “After the consideration both perspectives.” Make each paragraph develop one central idea in a logical sequence, and use references and transitions that clearly show how each sentence relates to the previous one.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “environmental problem,” “species,” “plastic,” “pollution,” and “fresh air,” so the general subject is apparent. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and frequent inaccurate word choices or collocations make several ideas hard to understand. Phrases such as “using an necessarily fuel,” “greeting problems,” “bad environment,” and “more main problems” do not express the intended meanings clearly. Spelling errors such as “importent” and “Mach” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of environmental terms and check how words combine in natural phrases; for example, distinguish “species loss” from “pollution” and use specific terms for causes and consequences.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt some longer sentences and use basic complex structures, including “because” clauses and the contrast pattern “While others argue…”. However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes distort meaning. For example, “environmental problem caused to loss particular species” lacks clear sentence structure and necessary grammatical forms, while “the are more important environmental problem” has errors in subject construction and number agreement. Verb forms and sentence boundaries are also unreliable, as in “people getting faster sick” and the long, unclear sentence beginning “On of the main reason.” Use shorter, complete sentences first, checking subject–verb agreement, articles, plurals and verb forms. Then add complex clauses only when their relationships are clear.
