Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people argued that the main enviornmental problem of this time is the reduction of particularly species of plants and animals. On the other hand, some other people argued that, there are another important enviornmental problems. In future times there are lot of chances to some special species of plants and animals being endangered due to deforstation and natural disasters.Whereas there are also some others envoirnmental issues related this.I fully agree with this opinion.
Firstly, there are lots of issues thats occured in recent times, thats responsible for to be endangered of few species of plants and animals, in which involved a natural disaster and humans made disaster such as deforstation and aslo involved a illegal hunting of animals, throughout the forests, and natural disaster like heavy rains responsible for the lost of their habitats, or unsuffcient supplies of water. However, humans society also plays a vital role in their redution some hunters hunted the illegals animals and also takes researches on plants species in their labs thats a major reason behind their low ratio in coming times.
Secondly, industrial inflluents, harmful chemicals and industrial wastes aslo perfomed a key role in reduction of marine species, because poisons water traped oxygen, and blocked their gills thats cause marine species fatal death.Together, there are lots of envoinmental problems and humans lifestyles thats effects the species most and made them endangered.
In conclusion, we should be aware of this happening and look after the main reason behind this problems the need is that we should overcomes the humans happend disasters like deforstation, do not waste their habitats and also stops hunting of endangered of particurl animlas and plants species.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both views by discussing species loss and other environmental problems, and your conclusion recommends preventing deforestation and hunting. However, the response does not clearly explain which view you support: “I fully agree with this opinion” has an unclear reference, and the essay mainly describes causes of species decline rather than comparing its importance with other environmental problems. The second body paragraph mentions industrial waste and marine species, but does not develop this as a distinct, broader environmental concern. Examples such as habitat loss and pollution are relevant, yet their effects and significance are only briefly explained. To strengthen the response, state your position precisely and develop each side with a clear reason and a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs beginning “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion. This helps readers identify the main sections. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because several ideas are joined into long, crowded sentences, particularly the first body paragraph. Connections such as “Whereas” and “Together” do not always show the intended relationship clearly, and the conclusion repeats earlier points rather than drawing the discussion together. Some references, including “this opinion” and “this problems,” are unclear. Aim to give each paragraph one central point, separate supporting explanations into shorter sentences, and use linking expressions only when their logical relationship is clear.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “deforestation,” “habitats,” “industrial wastes,” “harmful chemicals,” and “marine species.” These choices show an effort to discuss environmental issues beyond very basic terms. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are frequent, as in “enviornmental,” “deforstation,” “inflluents,” and “particurl,” and some combinations are difficult to understand, such as “humans made disaster” and “poisons water traped oxygen.” Repetition of “species,” “problems,” and “reduction” also limits range. Work on accurate spelling and natural collocations, and choose precise terms such as “human-caused damage” or “pollutants reduce oxygen levels” to express your ideas more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including cause-and-effect clauses with “because” and relative clauses such as “disaster like heavy rains responsible for the lost of their habitats.” However, complex sentences are often faulty or incomplete, and frequent errors make some relationships hard to interpret. For example, “there are another important environmental problems” has a number-agreement error, while “humans society also plays” and “thats responsible for to be endangered” show problems with agreement and clause construction. Missing spaces after punctuation and inconsistent comma use also affect readability. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time, checking agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
