Student answer (Band 5.0)
First of all many people think that the principal problems on our environment those days are the loss of some species of plants and animals where other part think that there are many important deseases. so witch one is correct ??
Overall, today many species has disappeared and that causes many environmental discalibration and now there is many plants are rare and on the same time have a huge health benefits for humans and many medical solutions based on them and this make those experiment cost a lot of money and became just for wealthy people and animals loss cause some problems like the high number of special types of insects caused by the decrease of its eater but there is many problems related to weather and climate change are much dangerous and causing hating and drying of many countries and decrease agricultural areas and the pollution of many oceans that impact on fishes quality and causing illness for many people too. So as i think twice parts are right and each view speaks about a dangerous problems but the worst prediction is if the two problems supports each other that will cause something can impact humans life and cause disappearing of our generations like the weather heats up in a moment a type of mortal insects attacking humans at that time they will cause a huge number of death in all the word
Finally some people see that loss of species is the most dangerous part while other think that it is not but the danger start when they come together

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views by discussing species loss and other environmental threats, including climate change and ocean pollution, and you give a position: “both parts are right” and their combined effects are most dangerous. However, the discussion is uneven and the position is not consistently clear. The opening refers to “many important diseases,” which does not accurately introduce the opposing view of other environmental problems. Your points about plants’ medical value, insects, and climate impacts are relevant, but they are compressed into one long explanation and are not supported with a specific example. Develop each view separately, explain why it matters, and state your own judgement clearly from the introduction through the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is a basic overall shape, with an opening, a central discussion, and a concluding sentence, and words such as “Overall,” “So,” and “Finally” signal stages in the response. However, the central paragraph contains many different claims in one extended sentence, so the reader has difficulty following the progression from species loss to health benefits, insects, climate change, and pollution. Some links are unclear, including “the two problems supports each other,” and the conclusion largely repeats the idea that both problems are dangerous rather than drawing the discussion together. Use separate paragraphs for the two views and your opinion, and connect each claim to the next with clear references and logical transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “species,” “medical solutions,” “climate change,” “agricultural areas,” and “pollution,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or misspelled choices make parts difficult to understand. For example, “environmental discalibration” is not a natural expression, “hating” appears to mean “heat,” and “the word” likely means “the world.” Phrases such as “many important diseases” and “fishes quality” also do not express the intended ideas precisely. Build a more reliable set of environmental collocations and check spelling and word forms; precise choices will make your arguments clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to express complex relationships, for example by linking species loss to medical benefits and climate change to agricultural decline. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors frequently make the relationships between ideas hard to follow. Examples include “many species has disappeared,” “there is many plants are rare,” and “the two problems supports each other,” where subject–verb agreement and sentence construction are incorrect. The central sentence also runs on through several claims without clear punctuation, while the opening uses an incomplete construction (“the principal problems … those days are”). Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then combine ideas using accurate clauses and punctuation.
